Cita previa NIE Girona: one booking, several possible doors
Online and free, on the administration’s cita previa pages (cita prèvia, in Catalan): Girona as the province, then the trámite, then a date. The trámite also decides which of the brigade’s three Girona addresses you go to.
Where the booking is made
The booking pages belong to sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es, the administration’s electronic office, under its appointments section. Pick Girona as the province first. The procedures appear only after that, and each procedure then shows only the offices that take it.
Matching your need to a trámite
- A NIE on its own, or a certificate of one you already have: look for NIE certificates and assignment
- A European registering as a resident: look for the EU registration certificate
- A first TIE, or a new one after a renewal: look for the fingerprint procedure, toma de huellas
- A trip abroad while your card is being renewed: look for the return authorisation
- Anything else: read the whole list slowly, and ask us before choosing if nothing fits
What the screen asks for
The number of your passport or NIE, your name exactly as printed, your nationality, a phone number and an email address. Type every detail the way your document shows it: on the day, the officer compares the two.
The street on the confirmation
The confirmation, the justificante, gives a reference, a day, a time and an address. Look at the street before anything else. In Girona city, C/ Cristobal Grober 12, C/ Rajolers 7 and C/ Santa Eugènia 145 all belong to the same Brigada Provincial de Extranjería y Fronteras, yet policia.es lists different procedures at each; for a TIE, it also lists units in Figueres, Lloret de Mar, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, La Jonquera, Puigcerdà, Portbou and Camprodon. If the address surprises you, check which trámite you picked before you cancel anything.
Keep the confirmation, on paper or on your phone, for the day itself.
When the calendar is empty
Dates are released by the offices, not on a timetable anyone publishes, and some days show none at all. Looking again at different times of day is the only method we know of. No one, ourselves included, can promise you a date.
In Girona
Wherever you live between the Pyrenees and the Costa Brava, the booking begins the same way: Girona as the province, then the trámite. A number on its own leads to Cristobal Grober; a card can lead to Santa Eugènia or to one of the units the province lists for the TIE; the confirmation has the final word.
Questions
Does booking a cita previa cost anything?
No. The booking itself is free. The fee for the procedure is a separate matter, paid on the Modelo 790 código 012.
Can I book by phoning one of the Girona offices?
Book on the administration’s website. For reference, policia.es gives 972 225 557 for Cristobal Grober, 972 416 909 for Rajolers and 972 069 348 for Santa Eugènia.
I live in Figueres. Must I come to Girona?
It depends on the procedure. policia.es lists TIE issue at the Figueres comisaría, but the assignment of a NIE only at C/ Cristobal Grober 12 in Girona. The confirmation names the office for your booking.
The confirmation shows a street I did not expect. Is it wrong?
Probably not. Each address lists different procedures, and the trámite you chose decides which one appears. Go where it says, or rebook under the right trámite if you picked the wrong one.
